Alumni & Placement Relations Releases Latest Alumni Newsletter
The Office of Alumni & Placement Relations has released its latest alumni newsletter, a roundup of where Alfaisal graduates have landed since leaving campus, from research laboratories and hospital wards to boardrooms and startups across the region.
Published periodically to the university's growing alumni network, the newsletter has become one of the primary ways Alfaisal keeps graduates connected to the university and to each other after commencement. This edition features updates submitted directly by alumni — notes on new roles, further degrees pursued abroad, and professional milestones — alongside features on graduates whose career paths since Alfaisal have taken particularly notable turns.
The newsletter also looks back at recent alumni gatherings held over the past several months, informal reunions and networking evenings that have become increasingly common as Alfaisal's alumni base matures and spreads across more cities and sectors. Alumni & Placement Relations says these events, alongside the newsletter itself, are part of a deliberate effort to build a durable alumni community rather than letting connections fade after graduation.
Looking ahead, this edition previews a calendar of upcoming alumni events, including regional meetups planned for graduates now working outside Riyadh, and a call for alumni willing to return to campus as guest speakers or mentors for current students — an invitation the office says it extends in nearly every issue, and one that a growing number of graduates have taken up in recent years.
For current students, the newsletter also serves a quieter purpose: a reminder of the range of paths available after graduation, illustrated not through admissions brochures but through the actual, varied trajectories of people who sat in the same classrooms only a few years earlier.
Alumni interested in contributing updates to future editions, or in getting involved in mentoring and recruitment activities, are encouraged to reach out through the Alumni & Placement Relations office. The next newsletter is expected later in the academic year.
